You can use three modes for WAU Manager – normal, passive and quiet. You can disable Windows’ in-built automatic updates feature from here and replace it with WAU Manager. User interface of WAU Manager gives you all the options in the same window. It will give you all the control of Windows Updates – when they should be installed, how they should be installed, ability to remove previously installed updates and more. It also supports other older versions of Windows but updates for them might not be available. This small tool can effectively replace the one that comes built-inside in Windows 10. If you are not satisfied with what Windows Automatic Updates offers then you can use a third-party automatic updates tool called WAU Manager. Even though this in-built automatic updates feature is enough and sufficient for the automatic delivery of Windows related updates, some users find that it is not enough and desire many more options when it comes to system updates. Windows Automatic Updates is enabled by default in all Windows 10 computers and cannot be easily turned off. Windows 10 comes with its own well designed automatic updates feature that can download updates for all the Microsoft products from Microsoft servers as soon as they are released.
